Course describes the prerequisites and knowledge required to perform tank repairs in accordance with American Petroleum Institute (API) standards and federal regulations. It addresses the various types of tank repairs; the safety hazards and risks associated with each type; and the safety equipment, repair tools and equipment, and procedures needed for performing tank repairs. In addition, this course describes the abnormal operating conditions (AOCs) that may occur during repair activities and how to respond to each AOC.
