Course describes the prerequisites and knowledge required to successfully and safely verify that a new, replaced, or rebuilt pump is functioning within specified parameters, prior to or during placing in service. It addresses the repair, alteration, or refurbishment and the abnormal operating conditions (AOCs) that may occur during the inspection, testing, and corrective maintenance of centrifugal pumps
